After-the-Bell is staffed by more than 100 volunteers each year who share their time and interests with students.
Please view our annual report for a complete listing of our volunteers.
After-The-Bell volunteers help out in many ways as activity facilitators, assistants, snack servers, desk helpers, and substitutes. Volunteers can also help the Kennett After-School Association by serving on the Board of Directors or on committees that include Finance, Program, Fundraising, Special Events, and Information Technology.
Volunteers provide a safe, supervised environment where students can enrich their education, learn new skills, and strengthen their self-image through fun, adult-monitored activities. By volunteering you will be positively impacting the lives of those students who may otherwise have nowhere to go after school is dismissed and before their parents get home from work.
