Notes addressed to the After-The-Bell Program can be turned in to either the “Absent note basket” located at the ATB desk (outside the cafeteria) or the After-The-Bell office in C106.

ABSENT NOTES:   Please provide an absent note in advance if your student is attending school, but will be absent from the After-The-Bell Program. Absent notes can be turned in prior to or the day of the absence. Parents can also call the After-The-Bell office at (610)268-5889 or send an email to afterthebell@kcsd.org The After-The-Bell staff is accountable for the safety and welfare of every student so when a student does not show up we must call the parents.

PICK UP NOTES:   Please provide a pick up note if your student is being picked up early from school or the After-The-Bell Program. When picking up a student early, parents should report to the After-The-Bell desk (outside the cafeteria) and a volunteer will bring their student to them.

TRANSPORTATION:   If your student has signed up for transportation, but will not be going home on the bus a note is required.

Please be aware that the After-The-Bell bus services are separate from the KCSD Transportation Department. Any ATB transportation questions/concerns will be handled by the Managing Director.

Please call the After-The-Bell office at (610)268-5889. If you have an urgent transportation issue you will be provided with an emergency telephone number.

URGENT ISSUES:   If you need to speak to an After-The-Bell staff person when the program is in session, please call the ATB office at (610)268-5889. If no one is available in the office, you will be provided with an emergency telephone number to call.

WITHDRAWING FROM AFTER-THE-BELL:   If your student has decided for whatever reason that he/she cannot complete the After-the-Bell cycle, please notify the ATB office immediately via telephone, email, or written note. We always have students on a waiting list.

CODE OF CONDUCT:   Students participating in the After-The-Bell Program must sign and demonstrate compliance with the Code of Conduct policy. Students who do not comply with the policy cannot remain in the After-The-Bell Program.

BADGES:   Every After-The-Bell participant must wear a name badge at all times for the safety of all students. Badges are costly and we use them throughout the cycle. If your student brings home his/her badge, we kindly ask that student return it the next day.
